Description
The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 IO Board is the official carrier board that exposes all the interfaces of the Raspberry Pi CM4 series to the outside world, turning a Compute Module into a full-featured industrial platform. It provides dual full-size HDMI 2.0 connectors, a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 jack, four USB 2.0 ports via an on-board hub, a microSD card socket (for CM4 Lite eMMC-less variants), a PCIe Gen 2 x1 socket, dual 22-pin DSI display connectors, dual 22-pin CSI-2 camera connectors, a Raspberry Pi HAT-compatible 40-pin GPIO connector, an RTC with battery holder, fan header and a 12 V DC barrel jack (7.5-28 V input support with suitable PSU wiring). The board is the reference design for building industrial gateways, HMI panels, edge servers and custom CM4 carriers, and is fully documented in the official CM4IO datasheet.
