1. Who we are
Vexelora is a trading company based in Shenzhen, China, supplying electronic components, modules and hardware products to business customers worldwide. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Vexelora.
For any question about this policy or about how we handle your information, write to leon@vexelora.com.
2. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to answer an enquiry and to run our business:
- Enquiry details you send us — your name, business email address, company name, part numbers or product requirements, and any technical documents (such as BOM files, drawings or specifications) you choose to share. This information reaches us as an email; it is not stored in a database on this website.
- Technical and usage data — like most websites, our hosting server records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting.
- Business records — if we enter into a transaction, we keep the correspondence and commercial documents required for quotations, orders, shipping and accounting.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- respond to enquiries and prepare quotations, including checking availability with manufacturers and authorised suppliers;
- provide technical information, samples and after-sales support;
- fulfil orders, arrange shipping and comply with customs and tax obligations;
- keep our records accurate and prevent fraud or misuse of our website;
- meet legal, accounting and regulatory requirements.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where data protection law requires a legal basis (for example the EU or UK GDPR), we rely on: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering a contract; our legitimate interests in running and securing a B2B trading business and answering business enquiries; compliance with legal obligations; and, where required, your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
5. Cookies and analytics
This website does not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
Only strictly necessary cookies may be set by the content management system — for example a session cookie, or a cookie that remembers your preferences if you interact with the product catalogue. We do not set cookies to profile visitors.
If we later add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
6. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed:
- with manufacturers, authorised distributors and suppliers, when we need to confirm availability, price or lead time for the parts you asked about — we share the minimum necessary, normally part numbers and quantities;
- with service providers who support our operations, such as our hosting provider and email provider, under contracts that limit their use of the data;
- with logistics, customs and payment providers to deliver an order;
- where required by law, regulation or a valid legal request.
7. International transfers
We operate from China and serve customers worldwide, so your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including China. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as standard contractual clauses, and we limit the transfer to what is necessary to handle your enquiry or order.
8. How long we keep information
Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and to maintain a record of the commercial relationship, and is reviewed periodically. Transaction, shipping and accounting records are kept for the period required by applicable tax and commercial law. Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete information we no longer need, where no legal obligation requires us to keep it;
- object to or ask us to restrict certain processing;
- ask for your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Security
This website is served over HTTPS. Access to correspondence and business records is limited to the people who need it to answer your enquiry or fulfil an order. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Children
Our products and services are intended for business customers. This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Links to other websites
Our website may link to manufacturer websites or datasheets. Those sites are outside our control and have their own privacy policies, which we recommend you read.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services or the applicable rules change. The revision date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect.
This policy describes how Vexelora handles business contact and enquiry information. It is provided for transparency and does not replace any contractual terms agreed in writing with a customer.
