Description
The MGJ2D121505SC is a 2 W isolated DC-DC converter from the Murata MGJ2 series, designed specifically to power the high-side and low-side gate drivers of IGBT, SiC MOSFET and MOSFET bridge circuits in motor drives, inverters and power conversion equipment. The asymmetric output rails (+15 V and -5 V) give the optimum positive gate voltage and negative turn-off bias for fast, reliable switching with reduced EMI. The through-hole SIP-5 version carries a 5.2 kV isolation rating and operates from a 12 V nominal rail (10.8 to 13.2 V). The converter is characterised for high isolation with low isolation capacitance and a common-mode transient immunity above 200 kV/us, and reinforced insulation is recognised to UL62368-1.
