Description
The ABB CLMD13/10 690-50 is the highest-voltage unit in the standard CLMD13 range: 10 kvar at 690 V 50 Hz, internally star connected because ABB builds CLMD units above 550 V in star rather than delta. 690 V is the standard voltage of large variable-speed drives, wind and solar converters, marine distribution and high-voltage motor circuits, where compensation has to be connected directly to the 690 V bus instead of through a transformer. Dry self-healing metallised polypropylene dielectric, vermiculite filling, sequential protection and built-in discharge resistors to below 50 V within one minute. Compact 210 x 167 x 117 mm body with three M6 terminals, IP42, IEC 60831-1/-2.
