Description
The ABB CLMD53/50 440-50 is a 50 kvar unit rated 440 V 50 Hz, in the 310 x 436 x 152 mm CLMD53 frame. It is specified where the network runs at 440 V or 480 V nominal – marine and offshore distribution, North American plant networks and heavy industrial panels – and where a single step of around 65 A reactive current is needed. Construction is the standard CLMD dry, self-healing metallised polypropylene element in a steel tank with vermiculite filling and sequential protection, plus built-in discharge resistors that reduce terminal voltage below 50 V within one minute. IP42, IEC 60831-1/-2, M8 studs, 50 Hz.
