Description
The MGJ2D121509MPC is a 2 W isolated DC-DC converter from the Murata MGJ2 series, designed specifically to power the high-side and low-side gate drivers of IGBT, SiC MOSFET and MOSFET bridge circuits in motor drives, inverters and power conversion equipment. The asymmetric output rails (+15 V and -9 V) give the optimum positive gate voltage and negative turn-off bias for fast, reliable switching with reduced EMI. The surface-mount MPC variant is supplied on tape and reel (R7 or R13 reels) for automated assembly and carries a 5.7 kVDC isolation test voltage. The converter is characterised for high isolation with low isolation capacitance and a common-mode transient immunity above 200 kV/us, and reinforced insulation is recognised to UL62368-1.
