Description
The SN65HVD230DR is TI’s 3.3 V CAN bus transceiver in SOIC-8 (D), designed for ISO 11898-2 physical layers at signalling rates up to 1 Mbps. The RS pin selects high-speed mode or slope-controlled operation to reduce electromagnetic emissions, and the device offers a low-power standby mode with automatic wake-up on bus dominant. Dominant timeout protection prevents a faulty node from blocking the bus permanently. It pairs with 3.3 V CAN controllers in industrial automation, automotive body electronics and battery management systems. Specified over -40 C to +85 C. Official datasheet: TI SN65HVD23x (SLOS346).
