Description
The MGJ2D152005MPC is a 2 W isolated DC-DC converter from the Murata MGJ2 series, designed specifically to power the high-side and low-side gate drivers of IGBT, SiC MOSFET and MOSFET bridge circuits in motor drives, inverters and power conversion equipment. The asymmetric output rails (+20 V and -5 V) give the optimum positive gate voltage and negative turn-off bias for fast, reliable switching with reduced EMI. The 15 V input version with +20 V / -5 V outputs is intended for gate driver stages that need a higher positive rail, and it uses the same 5.7 kVDC isolated surface-mount construction. The converter is characterised for high isolation with low isolation capacitance and a common-mode transient immunity above 200 kV/us, and reinforced insulation is recognised to UL62368-1.
