Description
The ABB CLMD63/80 400-50 is an 80 kvar, 400 V 50 Hz capacitor unit built in the CLMD63 frame, a 485 x 436 x 152 mm tank with larger stud terminals for high-current busbar connections. Units of this rating are used for large automatic PFC banks, main distribution boards and heavy industrial loads such as induction furnaces and large motor groups, where a single step carries several hundred amperes of reactive current. Dry metallised polypropylene dielectric, self-healing, vermiculite filled, sequential overpressure protection, built-in discharge resistors to below 50 V in one minute, losses below 0.2 W/kvar without resistors. IP42, IEC 60831-1/-2, 50 Hz.
