Description
The AMS1117-3.3 is a positive low dropout (LDO) linear regulator from the AMS1117 family (Advanced Monolithic Systems), delivering up to 1 A of output current with a fixed 3.3 V output and +/-1.5% accuracy. It integrates overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown and an output bypass guarantee under light loads, and operates from input voltages up to 15 V with dropout specified up to 0.8 A load. Commonly used to generate local 3.3 V rails from 5 V inputs in MCU boards, modules and consumer devices.
