Description
The ABB CLMD53/40 400-50 delivers 40 kvar at 400 V 50 Hz in the CLMD53 frame, a 310 x 436 x 152 mm tank with M8 studs. It is the size normally specified for plant and building PFC panels, and for detuned banks where the unit is combined with a 7 percent or 14 percent reactor to keep resonance away from dominant harmonics. Dry self-healing metallised polypropylene dielectric, vermiculite filling, sequential protection, permanently connected discharge resistors that bring the terminals below 50 V within a minute, losses below 0.2 W/kvar without the resistors. IP42, IEC 60831-1/-2, 50 Hz.
